Hey! Happy You’re Here:)
I’m Ally, a senior immersed in UX Design at the University of Michigan. My time at Umich has sparked my interest in many aspects of user experience, including Interaction Design, User Research, and even Automotive UX Design!
Throughout my journey, I found that what truly fascinates and inspires me about UX is not only the process of creating interactive prototypes, but also to dive deep into the rationale and story behind my designs.
I grew up in Taiwan and started my new life in the US when I was 15 years old. My journey from an entry-level English learner to a motivated Umich student has taught me to be resilient, understanding, and thriving from challenges.
When I discovered the field of UX I knew right away it’s what I wanted to do. I love that design has the power of connecting people and making their lives easier.
Outside of UX Design & Research
My passion for art and design started from kindergarten and I’ve always wanted to pursue something in design. Since young, I have always enjoy doing creative things and making gifts for people I loved and valued. Yet I did not get to explore the field of UX Design until college.
During pandemic, I discovered the fun of designing and creating polymer clay jewelries. I even had a small handmade business for it!
